Kathy Rogers

As Executive Vice President of the Western States Region for the American Heart Association since 2014, Kathy Rogers is responsible for the leading the staff and volunteers in 10 states. Her unwavering passion for the mission fuels community impact and drives fundraising efforts throughout the Region. Kathy’s inspiring vision is brought to life through her exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and continuous innovation.

Before stepping into her current role, Kathy served as the National Executive Vice President of Consumer Health for six years at the American Heart Association’s National Office in Dallas, Texas. With over 30 years of experience at the American Heart Association, Kathy has served in a variety of positions including the National Vice President of Cause Initiatives, National Vice President of Corporate Relations, National Heart Walk Consultant, and Executive Director for the Detroit market.

Throughout her career with the American Heart Association, Kathy has been the visionary leader behind some of the Association’s most impactful signature initiatives. She spearheaded the creation of Go Red For Women, one of the top cause brands in the country, aimed at increasing awareness about heart disease in women. She launched the organization’s healthy living platform to emphasize prevention and established the National Corporate Relations department.

Kathy lives with her husband, Ron, in Redondo Beach, California and has two children, and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to walk, read, Pilates and travel.
